A warm welcome to Frewen College.

It is a true privilege to be Headmaster of this exceptional school, and I am delighted to welcome you. Frewen College is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 11–19, specialising in dyslexia and co-occurring Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs).

Set in the beautiful East Sussex countryside, we offer a nurturing and high-quality learning environment where every student is encouraged to discover their strengths, build confidence and reach their full potential. They are empowered to aspire, believe and achieve.

We are proud to be widely recognised as the oldest specialist dyslexia school in England, and indeed the world. This heritage underpins our expertise, allowing us to deliver the most effective, evidence-based teaching approaches. Our small class sizes ensure that every student is truly known and supported, with learning tailored carefully to suit their individual needs.
