“Mr Loveday,” said one of my wonderful Prep School students, “would you like to see our indoor golf course?”

Indoor golf course, I thought, when did I sign the purchase order for that?!

On arrival at Prep School, I was greeted with the new indoor golf course; an amazingly thought through piece of architecture, painstakingly created using a ball and socket kit.

‘Problem is,” said the young man, “the golf club keeps bending.” This statement then led to a wonderful session on problem solving, resulting in a well thought through solution to the problem.

A mini golf course had indeed been created and, I can safely say, we have a future Tiger Woods in the making!

Creativity plays such an important part of our students’ development, and, here at Frewen, it is central to all we do: from our curriculum pathways, to multisensory, whole brain learning.
