Scholarships

Our A Level Art Scholarship celebrates young artists with the imagination, ambition and confidence to make their mark in the arts. Open to students in the Sixth Form, the scholarship recognises exceptional artistic promise and provides the support, challenge and inspiration needed to flourish.

The scholarship supports students working across Fine Art, Three-dimensional Design, Graphic Communication, Photography, and Art, Craft and Design, encouraging confident exploration of materials, processes and ideas. Scholars are empowered to take creative risks, refine their personal voice and develop ambitious, independent practices within an inspiring and professionally focused environment.

Each scholar receives:

  • £500 contribution towards specialist art materials.
  • Formal recognition as a Frewen College Scholar, at the world’s oldest school specialising in dyslexia.
  • 10% reduction in school fees, including boarding.
  • Access to a wide range of creative and enrichment opportunities within an aspirational and enriching wider curriculum.

Beyond artistic development, scholars benefit from exceptional pastoral care, ensuring that wellbeing, confidence and personal growth are nurtured alongside academic and creative excellence. We seek students who are curious, ambitious and excited by the challenge of developing their own creative voice.
