Frewen College Showcases Specialist Dyslexia Teaching at TES SEND Show London

Frewen College was proud to be represented at this year's TES SEND Show London, one of the UK's leading events for professionals working across Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Over two inspiring days, our Headmaster, Mr Mark Loveday, connected with colleagues from across the education sector, sharing insights and best practice on supporting learners with dyslexia and specific learning differences.

As part of the event, Mark delivered a presentation on the power of multisensory teaching approaches, exploring how combining visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning strategies can help pupils develop confidence, improve literacy skills and reach their full potential.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the specialist work taking place every day at Frewen College. As a leading independent school for children with dyslexia and associated learning differences, we are passionate about ensuring that every young person receives the support, understanding and tailored teaching they need to thrive.

The TES SEND Show also coincided with Dyslexia Awareness Week, making it a particularly meaningful occasion to highlight the positive impact that high-quality dyslexia teaching can have on pupils' academic achievement, self-esteem and future opportunities. Mark was also delighted to spend time with the team at TTS Resources.

In addition, Mark joined the SEN in 10 podcast during the show, discussing current challenges and opportunities within SEND education, as well as the importance of evidence-based teaching approaches for learners with dyslexia.

At Frewen College, our specialist teaching, small class sizes and nurturing environment help pupils with dyslexia build confidence, independence and a love of learning. If you would like to learn more about our approach, we invite you to visit one of our upcoming Open Mornings.
