Housemaster

We are seeking to appoint a full-time residential Boarding Housemaster to be responsible for managing the Boys' Boarding House under the supervision of the Head of Boarding.

The successful candidate will possess suitable and relevant experience of working in a boarding setting.  A flexible and adaptable approach to working with staff, pupils, parents and the local community is essential.

The role may be combined with a small teaching timetable, depending on skills and experience.  There is also the possibility of a role for a partner, again depending on skills and experience.

Accommodation is provided on a 'year round' basis, as well as full-board during term time.

Salary: £20,500 (+ additional salary for teaching responsibilities, if applicable)

Humanities Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a creative Humanities Teacher to provide maternity cover for the Summer and Autumn terms (fixed term contract to Christmas 2019).   This role is offered on a reduced hours basis (3 days per week), primarily teaching Geography (KS3 and KS4).  There is also a requirement to teach up to 4 lessons per week of KS3 History. 

Salary: Teaching Scales (M1 to UPS1)

Sixth Form Teaching Assistant

We have a vacancy for a Sixth Form Teaching Assistant - this role is advertised on a part time basis, but a full time role may be available for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will work a split site week at Frewen College and our partner college, and will support students on a wide range of vocational and academic courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3. Experience of working with students with Specific Learning Difficulties is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.

This role is offered on a 'term-time' basis - 35 weeks per year, including inset training.  Whilst a reduced hours role is offered, a full time role may also be available for the right candidate

Salary: £16,642 FTE (£7,468 pro rata for 3 days per week, £12,448 pro rata for 5 days per week)

Teaching Assistant (TA3)

We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant (TA3) - the successful candidate will be mostly based at our Prep School (students aged 7-11), and will provide academic and pastoral support.

This role is full time on a term-time only + one week basis (total 35 weeks per year).

Experience of working with students with Specific Learning Difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia) is helpful, but not essential as training will be provided.

Salary: £16,642 FTE (£12,448 pro rata)
