Frewen College

seeing things from a new perspective

Three lucky students had the opportunity to have a go at Gliding as part of their Science studies.

They visited the Kent Gliding Club in Challock and were able to go up in the glider, taking charge of the controls if they wished.  The trip afforded the children a chance to put their Science, Technology and Geography theory work in action by experiencing air pressure and thermals first hand.

One student commented: “It was very exciting and there were fantastic views of the Kent countryside.”

The trip was kindly offered to Frewen College by Kent Gliding Club as part of their charitable work.
