Who do we help?
We welcome young people with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia, as well as speech and language, and sensory integration difficulties. We also welcome a small number of children with Asperger's Syndrome, usually in combination with SpLD.
With an age range of 8 to 16 we offer support to one of the widest age ranges of any ‘Specialist Provision’ school in order to minimise disruption as children move from early years education through to GCSE.
Our juniors have their own separate school just across the road from the main site, but they have access to all the specialist facilities on the main school site. We bring the juniors and seniors together on a number of occasions through the year, and Year 7 join the juniors for choral practice in the Drawing Room every week.
We are co-educational and our girls increase steadily in number each year.
Boarding is completely flexible, with full boarding available at no extra cost. We are delighted that we are now able to offer boarding to girls, and we are already having to plan for more places!
