Extras:

Our basic fees include all activities considered to be part of the regular school curriculum including materials for Food and Nutrition, Design and Technology, and Art. Parents will normally be expected to pay for special trips, at cost. Fees for external examinations are chargeable at cost.

Therapy: Where considered necessary up to a total of two sessions per week of Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Sensory Integration Therapy are provided without any additional charge. Additional therapy sessions will be provided where capacity and need exist, at £40 per session. Where referrals are made to other therapists, parents are charged direct.

Music: Music lessons (including drums) are charged at £150 per term.

Boarding: Boarding fees include the cost of all activities unless advised in advance. No additional charge is made for full boarding at present. Pocket money is charged to parents at a rate of £3 per week.

Payment Methods:

Fees must be paid in full on or before the first day of term. A discount of 1% is available on a term’s fees paid on or by the first day of term; a discount of 2% is available on fees paid annually in advance. Interest at 1.5% per month will be charged on late fees unless prior arrangements have been made.

Cheques should be made payable to “Frewen College” and crossed ‘A/c payee’. In special circumstances monthly standing order arrangements may be made by agreement with the Business Manager.

Insurances:

Personal accident insurance is provided as an 'extra' by the school on an opt-out basis at a cost of £5.95 per term, although this charge may be subject to change for 2010/11. Benefits now include dental accident insurance.

Free insurance cover is provided for school trips but parents should seek details from the Business Manager's Office. The College can accept no responsibility for incorrect assumptions about the cover provided.

No insurance cover is provided automatically by the school against loss of pupils’ personal effects. Parents are strongly advised to take out such insurance, and details of recommended schemes are provided by the Business Manager’s office.
