PSHE
Personal, Social and Health Education
PSHE is taught as an integrated part of the whole school curriculum. It is delivered in discrete lessons by form tutors twice a week and brought into each subject area at suitable points throughout the year. This is supplemented by visitors to the school, special events and assemblies.
Visiting speakers cover a wide range of areas, and have included Alcoholics Anonymous, the Police, a local professional football club, and inspirational speakers.
The benefits of teamworking are vividly demonstrated through an annual Activities Day, where many of the challenges demand effective teamwork and mutual trust.
