Wellbeing & Therapies

Wellbeing

We believe in a whole school, ‘holistic’ approach to supporting the children entrusted to us. Our policies and practices embrace children’s health, social and emotional wellbeing, as well as dealing with their Special Educational Needs and education. We have a multi-faceted team of professionals to support this approach, including Speech and Language and Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapist, School Counsellor, and School Matron.

Therapies

We have experienced, onsite Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and a Physiotherapist, who are all supported by the Therapy Assistant.

The Therapy input students receive depends on their individual needs. This may include individual sessions, group sessions, class based support, advice to parents/carers, collaboration with teaching and boarding staff, involvement in transition, and liaison with other professionals/agencies where relevant.
